I am looking for some clarification - do I need my case number from NVC to complete the DS160 and submit? Again, more mixed information out there.

Sorry, @fluffykim, not doubting you but anxiety is a motha!  

You don't need the number to submit DS-160, all you need is your NOA1/2 number (which is usually WAC... ). I waited to submit mine until after I received my case number (but I did have it all ready and filled in a while back), but reading from what other people have said, that's doesn't appear necessary!😊

I have had it filled out for a few weeks and I'm just waiting lol. I want to get our interview scheduled ASAP so that I can get my plane tickets and start the countdown. Planning our interview for July so I'm leaving plenty of time for the process. Thank you!

I know how that is! The closer you get the sooner you want everything finally done haha. But, it sounds like you're all prepared, and as soon as you get your case number, you can get the ball rolling. Keeping my fingers crossed that everything works out for you!

for Jamaica i can not submit ds160 and pay until i have my NVC number...you need to look at your DR requirments

I have my NVC case number and I submit the ds160 it didn't use for your case number. It asked for your uscis petition number that you got from the uscis. Check it and you will see.

I know that maybe this question has been made before but,Can I fill the DS-160 when my case is still at NVC?(Hopefully they are going to send our case the following shipment day,on April 16th,I’m hoping that because they didn’t on April 2nd😭).   I do have case number and everything else, Does the DS-160 needs to put any other number or just my case number?

It didn't ask for any other numbers and the ds-160 asked for my uscis petition number that you received when you filed the petition with us is.

So we are at the point that ceac states that we are at NVC... ok.

 

Now the Affidavit of support I-134. Must be mailed to the beneficiary to honor the original signature or can one just scanned a copy and sent to her? 

 

Also there a version of affidavit of support I-864. I have been reading a bit and notice that this is the version for the AOS, but I saw in a group that a person applying in Mexico got a hold because they need to provide this as well. 

 

I know the embassies and consulates work all different but just wondering. In a P3 letter that I found from 2016 for Ecuador doesn’t mention the I-864 form. 

 

I hope everyone gets the opportunity to be on bext tuesday shipment.

My cousin had his approval date 03/22/2019 and nvc already recieved his paper yesterday .
