Ahhhh very nice, I'm glad to attach some good luck to your process!!!!! You did send in that inquiry right? Where you updated your email address and told them to send you an email once your case arrived at NVC, and also send you an email once your case number was assigned.

Send another email to NVC asking them to inform you via email once your case is sent to your embassy. In my case it worked i sent at least three or four emails asking them to inform me and they did. Even though it was after the fact because I called everyday and i found out that way, but they did reply to ALL my emails.

Yeah, your NOA2 was six days before ours. I think it if it doesn’t happen this week - it will for sure next week. 😊

No it will not count against you. You can delay up to a year BUT you have to convince the embassy to extend your case for 4 more months with a reason. Each embassy is different and yours may look upon this differently, the extension is what I'm referring to. 

 

My NOA2 is vaild through 7/26/19 so as long as I schedule the interview at least a week or so in advance we should be okay, right? I mean - I won't need to request an extension as along as the interview takes place prior to the expiration date correct?
