That's just a generic answer. It does not take that long,  you'll  find the NVC process is much faster than USCIS

4 years, 11 months, 2 weeks and 3 days

Citizenship Complete!

USCIS is like a box of chocolates, you never know what kind of answer you are going to get!!!!

Have been following this thread for few days but I can't remember where did it read this, forgive me if I repeat the question of someone. Well I received my case number 2 days back, the status now is still at NVC. I have requested for the police certificate, however I am not quite sure when should I start with the medical check and etc... I also realized the interview in Abu Dhabi can be schedule 2 days in advance, which sound good to me. Thanks guys for any advice 👍

Don't do anything in advance until the case is ready at embassy and the embassy sends you an email to the petitioner to follow these steps for Scheduling interview, Medical exam, police clearance etc. Follow the P3 but do not submit anything if asked until such time as you receive the email from the embassy. Doing so may jeopardize your scheduling of the interview and medical. I have given you a link below for a thread where others are talking about the process for UAE below. Please join the group and participate as you see fit.

No it is not a big deal. They will take all your financial information into account and add that to your other submitting's before they render a decision. Just a side note; once you are at the interview stage your visa is pretty much approved. The CO is there to review your case, apply it against the customs and laws of your country and if they see nothing wrong your approved before you even open your mouth. If they see something in your history then they will present it at the interview for clarification. If the answer you give is acceptable then they move on till they are complete with the questioning. Most interviews last 5 min with only 3 questions asked.
