Just got our NOA2 in the mail today! Couldn't be more excited. However it says it's valid until 7/22. Does anyone know if there is any way to get this extended?Right now due to her J-1 visa in 2016-17, we are waiting for her 2 year rule to be over which will be at the end of September.

It can be extended.  You have to contact your embassy to request an extension. Your NOA2 is valid up to a year.

Isn’t that the number we have to call abyway? I always called there it’s like 2-8 min wait and all they ask your receipt number and date of noa2. Is there any other number that we have to call?

If you read the tips on the first page first post here you'll hit the jackpot by learning that there is a second number you can use.

Hello,

I was wondering if someone could help me with a small issue I've encountered whilst trying to contact NVC via the online form.

Everytime I fill in the form I get an 'invalid date of birth' code. Not sure if I'm doing something wrong, or if anyone else had this issue?

Thank you in advance guys 😊

Story of our lives hurry up and wait,  but at least this put us much closer to being with our loved ones.

Just an update for anyone else who has received their NO2 around 15/03, and is waiting around like myself for more information.

I got off the phone with NVC and they still haven't received our case. But they've advised me to try calling again next week. This hopefully means that we should hear something very soon! 🤞
