Keep in mind that booking your medical too early can have a detrimental affect if you are delayed with the visa interview process. The reason being is the visa validity is only good for 6 months from the medical exam date. Your visa will begin with that date and end six months later. So if you do it now and there is a problem you may only have less then a few months, weeks or days to get to the US depending on how things shake out during this process.

Thanks for the advice but London doesn’t seem to have issues with interview availability and as I said before my case should ship on Tuesday and once it arrives I’ll get my interview scheduled.

From reading the uk forum lots of people book the medical with the case still at NVC without a problem but I understand you never know what could go wrong.

I mean I don’t know for certain but from reading through similar threads for the past few months usually if you have your case number assigned by the Wednesday/Thursday the week before the next shipment date your case should make the shipment.

I wont truly know until next week and I get the transit

Thank you all for your answers!

Hi Pinti, just do a search for Azerbijan. I found a few results:

Go up to the blue ribbon at the top of the page. Select "Forums" and scroll down 3/4 of the page and you will find my recommendations. Look for your country or region and scour the thread to see if someone else has started such a thread.

@Greenbaum I have two questions, I found solid intel for the process after NOA2. NVC-MEDICAL-CONSULATE links and helpful sites. How do I share that in sub-forums of my fiancee country here in VJ?

I saw in a early post you stated that we can register with NVC thru a email service, however I believe that they are requesting the CASE# from NVC which I don’t have yet. Or can I Register with my Receipt# from USCIS. (I’m lost)😐

Some will go to their countries sub forum and create a new thread and post in a new thread. Be sure you title it so if someone does a search your thread comes up in the results.

Details for registration for email is on the first page first entry of this thread.

Hi A signed statement from your employer on business letterhead that states the date and nature of your employment, salary paid, and whether the position is temporary or permanent  - that's the requirements from the USCIS filing info hope this helps

Just for information. NVC operating hours have changed from 9 am to 9 pm Monday-Friday.

Was trying to call them at 7 am eastern time (as in the info from the first post) and got this information by automatic response.

Thank you. The hours were changed recently and since the post was made there is no way of returning to correct. I have noted it for April. Thanks for updating everyone.
