Is that a smart move? (Just curious)

Why wouldn’t it be?

My case should ship next Tuesday and so I want to be prepared with a medical already booked as the appointments book up, that way I’ll be able to book my interview date once it’s arrived in London for two weeks after the medical.

Every embassy is different so the process will be different depending which one you are going through.

If you are unsure about the process for your embassy have a look on the sub forum for your country and you should be able to find the correct information.

Thank you,

They ship them every 2 weeks. Last shipment was 19th of March. Next would probably be 2nd of April. :)

Got our case # today. Hope it gets to US Embassy Manila by the 4th of April.😍

I mean I don’t know for certain but from reading through similar threads for the past few months usually if you have your case number assigned by the Wednesday/Thursday the week before the next shipment date your case should make the shipment.

I wont truly know until next week and I get the transit confirmation.

Thank you,

You pray!

And NVC will possibly send you email, if you registered. Seems most of us got the email during last shipment.

People just recommend booking everything when their case arrive at their embassies to avoid rescheduling coz we never know something must come up. But it all depends on everyone tho 😊 some risk it so they can have a spot for their appointments hehe

Just received an email from NVC with my case number, going to ring tomorrow and get my medical booked.

Its all coming together now!

Keep in mind that booking your medical too early can have a detrimental affect if you are delayed with the visa interview process. The reason being is the visa validity is only good for 6 months from the medical exam date. Your visa will begin with that date and end six months later. So if you do it now and there is a problem you may only have less then a few months, weeks or days to get to the US depending on how things shake out during this process.
