@Greenbaumare you also active on the AOS side too or just here with the K1 side of things? Just thinking a bit ahead of where to look once I start to assemble the AOS. I know it's a bit off and down the road, but I always like to be prepared and to have advance notice of what I am in for.

Hello, I have a question regarding updating beneficiary’s phone number. I’m going to travel a lot and my phone might not be available. How does consulate/NVC usually notifies beneficiary? By email or phone call?

Thanks in advance!

I believe what Braum said at the first page that the email is not reliable. I think you must call for better updates.

Use the guide link at the top of the page and choose AOS procedures. I'm not up to speed on AOS but it's not hard to do.

For the beneficiary they will only E mail. You can update both the E mail addresses for you and the beneficiary at NVC. The link is on the 1st page on the 1st post of this thread.

Thank you :) Emails of petitioner and beneficiary are same. We don’t need to update them. I was just asking about beneficiary’s phone number, because I was worried that consulate might call beneficiary about interview or if they have questions.
