It's on the move now to the PH. :)

Were the pieces showing how many documents/cases sent from NVC to Consulate? Both my friend and I received  “transit” update and also email from NVC but checked on DHL only showing “1 piece” to our consulate. Making us wondering🧐

I don't have a case number yet, so do I have to wait until then to use it? Do you think that if I call the NVC once a day that will be excessive?

Yes, you'll have to wait for your case number to be assigned unfortunately. Once you have it, you're good to try the website.

From other people's experiences and my own, things change very quickly at NVC, so you can in theory call everyday. But it will not speed the proceed up. I'd say call as many times as you deem appropriate and how much time you can spare in the week!

Hi guys!! My fiancé already received an email from the nvc. Can i print and use that for the medical?? Or i need to wait for the hard copy the nvc will send me? Thanks for the answer! 😍

It's best that you ask your embassy specific questions in the sub-forum for PH located here. For whatever its worth, you are done with this thread and need to ask there. http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/129-philippines/

Yes, I think this is the letter you need for medical.

No that is not the letter. In the past it was but they changed it to the "Embassy Eligibility Letter" from USEM. It's spelled out at Hank's website. I believe I have given the link before but if it is misplaced here it is again. http://www.visaconnection-philippines.com/k-1-visa-application.html

Some one mentioned to me, and I forgot to make a note of it, but there is away to determine if that is your package. It has something to do with removing the first 4 or 5 digits and the balance numbers relate to the case number. I am not really sure but maybe someone else has compared their case number to the results for their Embassy and let us know the "pattern" to look for.

When you booked a medical exam appointment and an interview appointment, what was the availability like for each?

I booked my medical 2 weeks ago so that might be a little outdated, but there was plenty of availability for end of April and May. Nonetheless, there are lots of appointments at Knightsbridge 😊

As for London embassy (for the interview), there is also lots of availability. These are the dates that were available when I booked my interview today:

For the affidavit of support, does my fiancee need to have the official IRS Tax Transcript sent to him or can he print a copy from online?

Create the document online and then print. I would recommend that it get printed to a PDF file that can be saved and then email it to the beneficiary to print on their end.

Here's my answer to that. Base on hank's article. If that letter has the barcode, MNL# which I presume that's the email she got and it was attached as DOC file then it is the letter you need on your medical..

Hank's website:

LETTER FROM NVC WITH MANILA NUMBER
When you get the letter from NVC stating the MNL #, scan and email a copy to your fiancee to bring to St. Luke's.  Or if you received an email from NVC with the MNL # forward this to your fiancee for SLEC.
