Had my family-based AOS interview today...it started at 11:30 though the appointment was for 10:15. The IO was ok, he asked us where we live, how long we've lived together, why we have a roomate. He asked for all sorts of documentation: W-2s, 1040s, employment letters, proof of joint responsibility (lease, bank accounts, insurance). He asked to see pictures and asked us probably 3-4 times how we meet and why we live in Colorado (moved here from the northern woods). The interview lasted close to 90 minutes.

After all that, the guy said "I should be able to approve you after I do a final check" and said that I should have my card in a couple of weeks (cool I thought). Now...this is something that is making me uncomfortable: he did not take my I-94.

It's probably not a big deal, but I have read that the IO is supposed to take it. Am I worrying unnecessarily?
