Keep in mind this was not a K-1 AoS, but based on Parent/Offspring familial relationship. There was no interview, as there is no question of "bona fide" relationship.

Not necessarily, my friend in Ft Lauderdale petitioned her birth mother and yet they were cited for an appointment at a USCIS office prior a decision made.

I think you skipped the picture above. The AP comes together with the EAD. It's the same card if you applied for both. Don't expect it sooner.

It's on the official USCIS website. The inquiry date went back to September 20th last Friday.

mine still says december. Not trying to be a jerk, I just have no idea where you are getting these extended waits.

Did you apply for AP and EAD together? The EAD current processing time, which is the I-765 Form is 6,5 to 8,5 months.

If you applied for both, the EAD time counts more because the AP comes together with the EAD. You are not looking at the right processing time.

please select the I-765 Form in this link and you'll see what I'm talking about.

You quoted my screenshot of this exact thing. Maybe location difference — mine is Texas.

Exactly. Location matters.

If you are here with K-1 your EAD and AP case belongs to the National Benefits Center. But I wish you the best and I hope you get your EAD and AP sooner than us! Keep us posted!

Yep that’s right EAD/AP at NBC, AOS local field office.

I noticed the increased time too 😖😑

Well that sucks. But please tell me - which EAD/AP are processed in - for example - California? They have only 3-5 months waiting time. I don't get it.
