Hi Everyone,

So the long wait continues and I am starting to get a little nervous about whether my AP will arrive in time for my wedding in Spain.  The USCIS website says they are still processing DECEMBER 2018 AP's which seems to be moving SO slowly!!!

I think I may need to look into an expedited AP.

Can someone please DM me if you have gone through the process and can anyone direct me to a useful thread on the correct process for requesting expedited AP?

You can apply for emergency AP, but wedding usually don't qualify.....but good luck......hope you succeed.

Wedding does if you can prove a financial loss.

Do you know where I might be able to find information to guide me in an application for emergency AP?

So the weekly timeline estimate has now pushed my EAD/AP approval estimate into September 😞

I was so happy that our interview was scheduled and now the interview notice is missing. Basically, I got an informed delivery email last Tuesday, while my husband and I were out of town, that the interview notice is being delivered that day. Got home today, excited to find out the date of our interview and the letter was not in our mailbox! I'm panicking because I have no idea what happened and most importantly what our interview date is. Of course it's a holiday today so I have to wait until tomorrow morning to call usps and uscis and try to solve this. All of other mail that is showing in the informed delivery was delivered. This is driving me crazy

So..... My NOA1 Date was April 16, 2019.  I just had my wife's biometrics May 12 and I just got an NOA for Request for Applicant to Appear for Initial Interview..... so this is the greencard interview right?  That is only 35 days between NOA1 and receipt of interview paperwork....

If it showed up on informed delivery, it means it was out of USCIS hands, and in hands of USPS. Was it in your name? Did you put "In Care Of" (Question 13.a on I-485) name of your petitioner?

I found this article on another immigration forum https://www.aila.org/advo-media/press-releases/2019/bipartisan-group-of-36-senators-calls-uscis?utm_source=AILA Mailing

it seems the senators are also concerned about the delays in immigration process with USCIS. I hope something will be done about the delays and backlogs as soon as possible

Congratulations! I don’t even doubt this Kentucky is super fast. It took 3 months for my sister-in-law’s adjustment of status to process
