Indeed it does sucks.

there  is even someone from the October filers who just received rfie the beginning of May. so the person concluded that hr application was not touch by any immigration officer since October she filed. Frustration upon frustration

I saw her post!!!! It was about some income issue!!!! I would be so upset!! I felt really sorry for her!

Oh this is good to know they send Courtesy letter early on. Gives me hope that we won't have to deal with it despite some uncertainties with our DS-3025 (They checked the box she refused vaxxies)

Now the waiting game for EAD/AP and for the interview letter

All non-immigrants (including K-1 entrants) have no legal status after the I-94 expires.  It is unfortunate, but that is often one of the downsides of a K-1........I hope you receive your EAD soon.

Regarding the  driver licence : I applied for it after my NOA 1 ; had the SS card and  my foreign passport . It took some time and SAVE verification but I have my permit . Maybe is worth checking if IL will allow that . I'm in Michigan .

Did you take a driving test? I'm in Michigan too idk how it works if I don't get green card yet

@Joey.C  My foreign driver license wasn't translated in English ,so I had to wait for 30 days . I'll take the driving test in about a week  . If I had the translation I would be driving by myself by now.

Ok I understand
