Thank you, I've been considering giving them a call and I think I'm going to do it on Monday. Hopefully it'll make a difference. My main concern with that is that they wouldn't be working on the EAD without completing the bio review, which would obviously be tragic.

Same situation. Biometrics on 3/28 and status never got updated. I called them and the lady on the phone was super NOT helpful. She basically said that I filed in February and I'm within normal timeframes for the whole AOS. I'll have to call them again and hope I'll talk to someone willing to help me and actually answer my question about the biometrics. I don't want to find out in 2 years they never got them due to some stupid error

I would make a suggestion when calling them, instead of asking generic question like "When can we expect to hear something?" try asking something specific. When I called, I asked if they can confirm they received my biometrics results, and when. She was able to confirm they have, and give me the date (a day after we had them done). Ask them to note that your case is not properly updating its status on the website. Understand a person you are talking to literally might not enough anything about the process, they are just reading out stuff from the computer. Frustratingly it often feels as a situation of blind leading the blind. Good luck, I hope we all hear something more soon!

Over the weekend I prepared a photo album for our interview. The beginning of the album has a few pictures of our wedding at the local city hall - we didn’t have anything big, was just the both of us and we were in casual clothes! It’s what was best for us at the time & what we wanted. I hope this doesn’t cause any issues, although I’ve been reading on a lot of these types of weddings and I know it shouldn’t - just getting paranoid now as I usually do when something big comes up. The rest of the album are photos from now to 2014 when we started dating. Got proof of joint bank accounts, health and dental insurance, apartment lease, retirement accounts, future vacation we’ve booked. Hoping it will all be enough. Thought we’d have well over 6 months to prepare all of this, so just slightly panicking. I realize a lot of people are still waiting and I hope you all hear some news very soon. 🙏🏻🤞🏻

That's great! Same here. I remember in the morning he came out with a proper formal shirt and all the works and I was like, "why do you look so nice?!" I was there with my vans and jeans!! I really didn't have enough luggage room for extra nice dresses or anything. But yeah it's about what works for the couple. I absolutely love big, beautiful weddings but I also love just being a guest admiring it all, don't think I'd handle wedding planning stress v.well!

Lol bless him. Yeah we aren’t really into the big wedding thing either too much stress plus we want to spend the money on vacations lol. If the CO questions if I’ll just be honest and say it was what we wanted and it was perfect for us. I haven’t changed my surname either - we aren’t very traditional lol

I just got off the phone with USCIS. I think it's all about the person you get to talk to. Unlike the lady before, this guy was genuinely trying to help me and answer all of my questions. He was able to confirm that they received the biometrics results.

Another difference from the previous call, the guy put me on hold after answering my questions about the biometrics. Then he asked me for my phone number and email. And then asked if I had any other questions. I though it was kind of weird. Do they usually ask you for that when you call?

Also, I asked that neither my case status online or the status in my USCIS account get updated and if there's something that could be done about it. After double checking while I was on hold again, he apologized and said unfortunately the website sometimes doesn't update and that I would have to call them to check on my case. So if your case doesn't get updated, it's most likely because of their faulty website system. But for the peace of mind I'd rather call.

Yes, they do ask you if you have any other questions. That is the right procedure. Any body who does not ask you if you have any other question is not providing the correct service.

Yes the guy who attended to me last week put me on hold and got my email and phone number too. He told me to just wait and that everything looks alright from there

Sorry, my question was a bit confusing. I only thought it was weird that he took my phone number and email as the previous agent didn't do it when I called a few weeks ago

Aww..... But they normally do that. Because my phone number and email was also taken when I called last week.
