My wife's EAD expedite was approved just now! Our green card interview is in a couple weeks, but this removes some pressure since we know she'll be able to keep her current job even if we don't get quick approval!

Yay congrats! Is your field office downtown Manhattan? I can’t remember if I asked you lol

Will definitely give a full report back! I'm sure the differing visas don't affect the AOS interview process too much!

Congrats! You always seem to be on the speedy track! And I’m surprised for Texas too...I would imagine that’s a slow immigration state?!

Thank you! Well, not this time, at least not before the interview was scheduled. I didn't get my SSN because my SS office screwed it up, my I-94 was screwed up, we got the RFE... I really did not think I would be getting anything anytime soon - for one because I was lucky with the K1 and  I also thought Texas (El Paso specifically) is slow. The Field Office processing time is between 6.5 and 17 months. I have no idea why it went through so fast. But who knows, I'm still waiting for the letter with the interview date (who knew that checking the mailbox could be such a thrill, right?).

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that you and your husband hear something soon, especially regarding AP. I have two very sick family members - one of them my dad and besides the fact that I obviously don't want them to die, I don't even want to think about the consequences/decisions I would have to make in case it got to that situation.

How many days did it take to process your expedite request?

My wife had her biometrics done on 4/25. It's been two weeks, and I still have no updates on the website or texts, no RFE's yet. I believe my local field office is San Bernardino, CA.

Hi there..  Sometimes they don't update the website I believe.  We filed in Mar 1 and in Apr 19, I received my EAD (combo card)  but in the website it is still showing case was received. It's okay..  :)

Wow! That’s so fast. Mine hasn’t updated either. You got your EAD in 42 days, may I know your field office?

Honestly,  I don't know which office 🙈 my husband hired an Attorney to do all the paperwork.  Same Attorney who filed our K1 papers before 😁

Lol that’s weird. You don’t know what field office or service centre you had your biometrics done?

Do you know, perchance, if your attorney also submitted EAD expedite request on your behalf?
