How frustrating - I still haven't received any word that USCIS has received our EAD expedite supporting evidence documents, even though we sent them to their fax line on the 16th. I just re-faxed them today.... I also contacted Congress, and while they said they would update me with developments / cc me on correspondence, I haven't received any updates there either.

(In fact, we haven't even received the letter requesting supporting evidence yet, and it's been nearly 3 weeks. We were able to get the information by calling initially, but just don't have the time to be on hold for 2+ hours to find out more since we both work).

We’re in the same boat as you.. and were also New York 😫 we requested an expedited AP on April 12th and they haven’t even sent us anything to send them evidence.. we called USCIS 2x already and no luck..and also reached out to congressman and haven’t heard back.. so we definitely feel your pain!

Oh no! It sounds like we have a very similar timeline too. Congress finally got back to us yesterday saying that they had sent USCIS our materials, along with their own cover letter. Will keep you updated on any other developments...

We filed today exactly 2 months ago. We have the "Ready to be scheduled for an interview" since April 8th but I'm in one of the slowest States, so this update unlikely will change soon to "Interview was scheduled". I'm happy for everyone who's gonna get their interview just in weeks.

But I just want my EAD at least!!! And it makes me more depressing when I see there are still many people in the November thread who are still waiting for the EAD. I just want to cry...

I’m in a slow state too so I’m sure I’ll be here with you until the end lol.

EAD is the thing I want too 🙏🏽🙏🏽

Same here. We are Philly. It is SLOW. Also want EAD and AP (need to leave the country end of August, no compromises there). I know we’re in for the long wait and my husband doesn’t even care about the green card. Just wants to be able to work and leave the country! But happy for those for whom it is going so fast.

Hey everyone,

My case was updated 05/02  - interview scheduled.

NOA 03/05, received an RFE, reply received 04/10 and today this. I wasn’t expecting it to go this fast.

Now we’re waiting for the letter to find out the date. I hope things are going smoothly for all other Marchers!

Congrats! You always seem to be on the speedy track! And I’m surprised for Texas too...I would imagine that’s a slow immigration state?!

Fingers crossed you get it in time, have you got a back up plan in case you don’t?

I wish I did. I guess he will go back and then reapply as married?! Is there a way to expedite AP? I haven’t started looking into that yet bc he doesn’t need to go until end of August.

I picked up the mail, and our interview seems to be on the 4th of June. For anyone interested here is a list (scan) of what is asked for the interview.

Congrats! Interviews coming up for a lot of us. Only ~3 weeks to go for my wife and I!

I’m not sure about the first bit but I think expedite AP is for serious emergency only like a dying parent or something along those lines

You can expedite AP, I saw one girl did that because she had a second "wedding" with her family planned in her home country and her serious reason was a severe financial loss or something like that. You should probably look into that rather sooner than later, there are threads on VJ about that. I think it took her like 1 month to even get the expedited AP card. Don't remember the details though.

I wouldn't go back to his home country without the AP.  You guys would have to go through the visa process again and be apart for many months again, I don't think it's worth it. The spousal visa may be even longer than K1
