How often does the green card gets denied after the interview? I was just going through some cases and i kinda started freaking out about it 😟

If you have a legit relationship then don’t worry. Also don’t stress yourself by reading those who have been denied there are far more approved but people don’t post that much compared to denials. If you’re legit I’m sure you’ll be fine

I was wondering what documents do you need to prove to get expedite on the EAD? I know the job offer is one of them but what else? We don't have anything to ask for expedite but I read the threads back to last April and there are still many people who are waiting for the interview and in this March thread way too many people are getting their appointment and they keep saying that the didn't file for an expedite (which I don't believe, but it's just my opinion). And I was curious what are the requirements for the expedite?

Some stories about not expediting the process are true. I have a friend who filed end of January 2019 in Baltimore MD ( with up to 30 months processing time) and went for her interview 16th April 2019. Her online tracker shows “card is being produced”. The amazing thing is she was changing from a B2 ( overstayed-visa) their marriage is less than a year. So I just think it’s grace.

Yeah, I know there are some people who are lucky. I have a friend in Miami, she filed exactly a week earlier than we did and she has her interview on May 9th. She is overstayed as well. But let's be honest, way too many people are saying in this thread they are getting their interview without requesting expedite.

Hi, I did not hear anything once I knew the packet was delivered until 10 days afterward. My cheque was cashed 10 days after delivery, I received an update on my case online as 'case was received' 11 days after delivery and and I received my hard copy of NOA1 15 days after the packet was delivered. Don't worry and be patient.

03/01/2019 - USCIS Chicago lockbox received case  for AOS/EAD/AP

03/21/2019 - NOA1 received hard copy via post (Notice date 03/14/2019)

If you look at the progress of other people’s case you will go crazy. Lol I think you’re just paranoid, I had my bio since April 18 and haven’t received any update on my profile, the lady that did my bio for me told me I should expect my EAD in two weeks, I’m not relying on that, I’m just here waiting for when it arrives.

i no longer worry since it took them 22 days to send me a receipt notice after I filed. Don’t panic just wait for your turn.

In sure you are fine. Mine took a week to update after I had mine done. Don’t worry about others or you’ll go crazy lol

Thanks, yeah I guess it'll just come when it comes. Not much to do but wait!

we sent our AOS packet for Adjustment from K1. it was delivered April 12th and as of today we haven't heard anything from them..no emails... no texts... no cashed checks.... no rejections..... nothing at all.

So we are in the same bought.. I know it's hard not to panic and overthink it... but know u are not alone...we are going through the same emotional roller coaster.

I know @lawrencejay7 for example is in the same boat with us last I checked.

Fingers crossed we all hear something soon.

We just sent our Congressperson the EAD expedite documents so they can send to USCIS on our behalf since we haven't heard anything in 1.5-2 weeks after faxing our materials. Hope that materializes into something. Will stay on top of it as much as possible.

Of course, it may be a moot point with our green card interview end of next month, but I want to be 100% safe with everything given how important this is.

It will show you the field office that covers your zip code (which is what's important to know).

This is usually the nearest one, but that's not always the case.
