Hi VisaJourney friends!

I am a March filer, and just had my Biometrics done today. It was super easy. We got there 40 mins earlier than our appointment time, and it was empty except for 1 other couple at the center. They took us right away and within 10 mins we were out of there.

Here is my timeline so far:

Chicago, IL

-3/15/19 Marriage-Based AOS Packet Sent (i485, i130 i765, i131)

-3/21/19 Notice Date for all Receipt Notices. Text notifications received on 3/21. Received in mail on 3/23

-3/29/19 Notice Date for Biometrics Appointment Notice (received 2 duplicate copies...weird!). Received in mail on 4/5

-4/15/19 Biometrics Appointment done!

Now the real wait begins. How soon after the Biometrics did your case status update online?

We have the exact same timeline except hat my biometrics are 04/18/19

04/04/18  - Mailed I-129F

04/06/18 -  NOA1 notice date email/text

10/18/18 -  RFE notification

10/22/18 -  RFE received in mail

11/01/18 -  RFE sent to USCIS

11/06/18 -  RFE received by USCIS

11/14/18 -  NOA2

11/27/18 - NVC Received

12/12/18 - NVC Case number

01/8/19 - Scheduled interview-APPROVED

01/21/19 - POE!

Your absence has not taught me how to be alone; it has merely shown me that when together we cast a single shadow on the wall.

Ky-G team ❤️

When you walk awayI count the steps that you take

I was able to do an early walk-in for biometrics today in Spokane, WA. They pushed back a little at first since they said everyone has been trying to do them early... but quickly processed me.

We did a successful walk-in for out Biometrics appointment. Went in late in the day, place was pretty empty with only one person working on taking biometrics. Picture was taken then all 10 fingers. Didn't take long, this was for both I-485 and I-765.

I did my Biometrics last week April 9th! Case Status still says "Fingreprint Fee was Received" as of right now for I-485. I went in a bit earlier than my 9am appointment and everyone was friendly. Absolutely no line, no other person was there except for me and the workers there. Took my photo and fingerprints, it was over in less than 5 minutes. Went to Fisherman's Wharf after, lol.

Hey! Thanks. I’m just thinking that my husband can take me to tukwilla since I live almost an hour away from the place. We’ll try to get it done this Friday tho. Cheers!

They're super friendly. I had an appt in Houston, but am currently working in Seattle. They took my wife immediately, and they were very kind. "Come into the closest office if you're ever that far away from the appointment" is the exact quote they told her. I'm sure not all places are as friendly, but I can say Tukwila was more than welcoming.

We received duplicate copies too. Biometrics hard copy received 4/5 appt set for 4/26. We filed 8 days after you did. We’re scared to do the biometrics early. Our office is in Nashville Tn

I did not even know going early was a thing otherwise we would have loved to do that instead! You can always call and ask if they allow it

Biometrics were done yesterday and today, the statuses via myaccout.uscis.dhs.gov for both i765 and i485 already show "Case Was Updated To Show All Fingerprints Were Taken And Case Is In Process". Egov.uscis.gov still has not updated at all.

Interesting. Once again we go with the whole "old" and "new" website situation. Currently, for us, new website just shows for all 3 forms.

We received your case
You do not need to do anything at this time
We will let you know if we need anything else from you as we continue to review your case.

Old site shows "fingerprint fee received" for I-485. Not too optimistic on the accuracy of the updates there. We never got SMS for AoS filling either.

Hmm weird. Did you already do your fingerprints? Also, the SMS notification when the AOS package is initially received is only if you filed G-1145 with your packet.
