What does the stage: testing and interview means ? Online on the website it shows ready to be scheduled for an interview but the email notification what i got shows your status has been changed to : testing and interview

Yeah, it's the same for me. A friend of mine will have her naturalization interview in a few weeks and she said she had the "testing and interview" at the email notification for the AOS and the ROC too.

Does that mean we will receive an interview early?

Received the biometrics appointment letter today (4/11) with appointment scheduled for 4/26. Will try to see if I can do an early walk-in Monday (no reports of success or failure for my field office).

I'm confused. Just received an RFIE in my husbands name saying that our application does not meet the federal poverty guidelines for a household of 3 ppl. I make $65,000 per year. That is way above what we need. Am I supposed to apply as a co-sponsor for my husband? I am really really confused. Has this happened to anyone else?

I did. We were able to file jointly because he arrived in November of 2018 and we got married in December of 2018. I waited to file AOS until we did our taxes just because having both of our names on it would be an extra layer of validity to our relationship. I am going through my copy of the packet now and i am still confused as to what I did wrong....

I included tax returns for 2016, 2017, and 2018.

#20. $65,000

#24a. 2018 $50,921

#24b. 2017 $49,416

#24c. 2016 $125,909 (previous marriage joint taxes)

I own a design consulting business and the company I do freelance for decided to hire me. So Jan 2018-Nov 30 2018 will be my business, and then on Dec 1, 2018 I started a salaried position with which I provided an offer letter detailing my salary of $65K a W2 for December of 2018, and as many pay stubs as I had received by the time I filed the form. For my business, I included my profit and loss statements for January - November 2018.

Got done with our biometrics yesterday! Forgot to bring our marriage certificate so they questioned his past surname on his passport but thankfully we had his new state ID which matched his new name on his appointment letter, which they accepted as proof of name change.

So just reminder that if you had a name change, bring your marriage certificate as well!
