Yeah, that's what I meant. I don't have that one. But I agree with you, it's done because they updated my case status.

I didn't have an update for a week after my biometrics. Suddenly I've got an update yesterday with a "ready to be scheduled for an Interview".

So you just have to wait like most of us do.

I got mine on the 28th and still no update too. Fingers crossed we hear from them this week

Did you had a RFIE? I think that is why my case is getting delayed. Am not really sure just guessing

@runninggirl @Romei hellow from a fellow Charlotte filer!!! I sent mine on 04/04 and just got texts from USCIS today, 04/09. Hopefully i get my NOA mails soon so I can try renewing my driver license with it.

Biometrics done! Pittsburgh office is nice! I went 50 minutes earlier and officer said it’s fine, others came a week earlier lol

Hello I have a question about my AOS package, I came over on a K1 visa and got married in December and sent our documents in March. 

 

I'm confused because I had sent my package with all the forms to adjust my status, application for travel and application for employment authorization and noted that on my cover letter I'm applying all together and had separated all the documents in their own folders and labelled them. I received a notification from my bank that the $1225 has been taken out of the account yesterday. I then received a letter today from the USCIS stating that my I-765 Application for Employment Authorization has been rejected because the payment amount is incorrect? I'm not sure if anyone can help or knows of anyone who has had the same issue? Was the $1225 not the correct amount? I've been reading all the posts to triple check everything before I sent it off but this letter has confused me now. 

 

Timeline: 

Sent AOS package: 16th March

Received: 19th March

Notification the fee of $1225 was taken from account yesterday 9th April

Separating them in their own folders might've been a mistake. It seems they tried to process your I-765 before I-485.

We sent them stack in the following order check, G-1145, I-485 + evidence, I-864 + tax transcripts, I-131 + evidence, I-765 + Evidence, eeach of those except I-864 with 2 pictures attached. On NOA1 for I-765 it shows 0 dollars fee but it was accepted. 

 

I believe, once you get NOA1 for I-485, you can resubmit I-765 with the NOA1 for I-485 included and not have to pay.
