I had my biometrics this morning and nothing changed at all on the online tracker. I'm not nervous, I'm prepared for the long wait, but it would be nice to have the interview within a few months. :D

I wouldn't mind if I get my EAD. I'm going insane trying to figure things out. I'm scheduled to graduate this spring but I had to stay to wrap thing up after graduation. Needed to publish a paper and finish a couple of experiments but I couldn't even do that without getting paid. I really do hope I get my EAD by next month but that's near impossible

I would be happy with my EAD either, but the Permanent Resident card is so much better :D

Lucky you with the quick updates on the tracker! Mine still shows only the "we have received your fingerprint fee" message however, my biometrics was yesterday morning. 😕

Yeah, but the trackers doesn't always updates. I've only been getting updates on the egov website and not the new myUSCIS website. The whole process is like a big black box, its really frustrating. I heard of people that took forever for background checks just because there is several people with the same name. I'll probably have a long wait from now. My field office have a 11.5 to 23 months processing time

My AP status changed to ‘document was mailed to me’ today. Hoping it’s the NOA1 as I realised I only received NOA1 for AOS and EAD 🤞🏼

I'm in SoCal. My field office has a 14.5 to 23 months processing time... However, I've read at the January AOS filers 2019 group that many people are already having their interview. I was shocked when I saw that 1 person is only 2 hours away from me.

We can only hope that we're the lucky ones.

We received our I-797 text notification late last night [April 2nd] and a few hours later our check was cashed. I mailed the package on March 8th and return receipt shows it was received on March 13th.  Now to wait for the NOA and biometrics appointment... tick tock.

Thanks!

It should take a week or 2 after receiving NOA1. The NOA2 will tell you about your bio appointment.

Curious, what is "late" ? Do you have specific time per chance? Was it SMS and e-mail?

Thanks!

I have no idea how the IO decide who is "the lucky one". Like I said before, we sent them a HUGE package. Wish I could get an acceptable answer.

Relative to most people here. Mine is a small package. All I sent in for my I130 is just void check with our name, joint 2018 tax, me as dependent on his health, phone bills with both our name, my update ss card with my married name, 1 pg of pictures, and  a 2 letters from his mom and brother.

Our lawyer said that having a joint bank account, taxes and health is a much better proof than photos and pics. He said we can bring those during interview.
