Wow! Thank you for posting! 😀 our timelines are exactly 1 week apart so if everything keeps going well I should be getting my Biometrics notice in the mail next Friday also :)

Yes , but after you receive your EAD you will be able to apply for license so i think you wont need a state ID but if you still do you can get it made in DMV

In addition to that, if you changed your last name after marriage, filed for AOS in your married name and don't have any ID in your married name yet, then bring your marriage certificate to show the name change. I read people forget about it.

E.g. I filed AOS in my married name but my passport has still my maiden name so I brought the marriage certificate to connect the dots
