I didn't. I couldn't get an appointment with the doctor in time. Got a courtesy letter. I'm sort of excited for my biometrics. At least that's something happening rather than just waiting in limbo land

We don't have to do the Medical exam before we file the AOS. We have to do it before the interview.

Yeah.  Hence why I sent in my application earlier.  No point waiting for the exam when they don't need it now

So true! waiting with zero updates is probably one of the worst parts of the whole process. Did you also apply for an EAD?

I did. But just EAD, I didn't apply for AP I've been here for close to 10 years, only been home twice. So I thought I can wait a year or two before my next visit.

Exactly. I'm planning to do it around May or June. The reason why I didn't do it because I couldn't afford it in February. LOL

I did it end of feb, arrive 1st March. We waited for my husband's w2 so we can file joint tax.

I didn't apply for AP either. I'm here for 7 years now so I'm fine to wait a little more.

My first trip home was a year after I came to US for summer break then it was 4 years later that I made a trip home. Currently I'm sitting at 5 years and counting... I'm surprised how easy it is to get used to it

LOL yeah right? Time flies so fast and you don't even realize it's been that long you haven't traveled outside the US.

Honestly, I'm also a little afraid to go home and get the culture shock LOL

I'm from Eastern Europe.

When I went home 4 years ago for 2 weeks, I definitely had a culture shock. Everything felt so foreign. I get so tongue tied even though i speak my mother tongue my entire life besides the time i'm in US.

I guess there is still a bit more room on the March AoS train. Just dropped off our package today and we are back into the waiting game. Good luck everyone.

A bit worried, since we are still waiting for SSN as well, not having that after 3 weeks is rather frustrating.

*sigh of relief*

Just put our packet in the mail yesterday.  Should arrive at Chicago lockbox by 12pm today.  Good grief that was a lot of stuff to do.
