For those of you that have received their interview scheduled letter: what was the return address on the envelope? NBC or local Field office?

Our interview was scheduled a couple days ago, and now on Informed Delivery I see a letter that's coming from the National Benefits Center, not my local Field office. I find this weird because I would think that my local Field office would be the one to send it out, not the NBC

Maybe your EAD got approved and you are going to get the Approval letter today. Sometimes uscis don’t do online changes.

New card is being produced! 🥳

They sent an email to my husband, I received nothing, but for now I’m just happy to be able to call work and tell them I can come back.

I just left my current job bc my EAD didn't come in 😭

I’m so sorry to hear that, will they be able to hold your job for you in case yours comes through soon? Work have been holding a position for me since I had to leave in April.

They said they would try as best as they could for the next few weeks. It sucks because I make more money than my husband and we're in the middle of a move so it's so inconvenient but I want make sure we make everything the legal way!

I see that you're 3 days ahead of me of notice date so I'm crossing my fingers it's in the works!

Has anyone here used their congressman to help with your application when it's taking longer than expected?

Hmm don't think so because I can see the receipt number through the address window and it is related to my i485. I am pretty sure it is the interview notice. Perhaps the NBC does the scheduling for local Field offices.
