Got interview letter today—date is exactly a month from now and letter came in five days as you all said lol. You’re good.

Question—it says to bring medical exam and affidavit of support of not already submitted. We submitted the support documentation with the i-485, so I’m assuming that’s not needed? And medical was submitted when he came in with K1 visa, so also not needed? Just making sure.

I read I guess in the November thread that someone didn’t bring paystubs and tax script to the interview because they submitted with the package and the officer was asking for the new ones. I think bring the last 2 months paystubs just incase. It’s better to be overprepared than get an RFE.

Yeah...thing is I lost my job in July. So no paystubs for me...I can bring my savings account info and tax statements from last year. I can’t wait until this is over!

Oh oh I’m sorry for your job 😢

Yeah, than bring the savings account statement, 2018 tax return (doesn’t matter if you submitted).

Yeah after ten years. I’m actively looking for a new one and got a large severance so it’s fine but bad timing with this!

Any news from my March 22nd filers at National Benefit Center? I have a job offer I’m probably not gonna be able to take, I’m devastated.

I'm March 22nd and still no ead. I did a service request on August 20th for being outside of normal processing times, and then the website changed the process times so not sure if that affects me.

Quick update-

Received AOS package March 13. Ready to be scheduled for Interview since April 13- we're in the San Francisco office zone so who knows when interview will be! Got notice of approval for EAD/AP August 15th so about 5 months after Receipt date- was thrilled for that! And now Combo Card is in hand ALONG with SSN card which was mailed to us on 8/20.

Does anyone know if we'll get a 2 or 10 year green card if our interview is more than 2 years after we've been married? We are married less than 2 years currently. Seems it varies. Either way we're thrilled to finally have the EAD/AP card, and that it came without any real troubles beyond the wait. Also, the social security card came to us the same day as the EAD/AP card. We must have checked the box for that on the new form.

3/13 Receipt Date AOS 485/EAD+AP

4/10 Ready to be scheduled for Interview - biometrics done about 10 days prior on date of appointment

8/14 EAD/AP Approval notice.  Notice that it was mailed to us came a couple days later

8/20 Combo Card Delivered.

Lucky you! I’ve checked  for SSN as well. I was approved for EAD on August 13th, got my EAD card last Friday but still no SSN...

If you guys will be more than 2 years married on your interview date, you’ll get the 10 year green card. My Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview since April 8 and I’m in SoCal, so at least a half more year left for the interview...
