I'm hoping to join the filed-in-March-2019 club soon! And thank goodness I read that first post, I missed the i-864 requiring proof of my US citizenship. Thanks for saving us an RFE!

Hi everyone! Just sent the AOS packet today after several days of checking and re-checking everything! Hopefully I got everything right and no RFEs! I had almost missed writing his name and A# on the back of his passport photos, plus having him sign and date the Additional Information page on some of the forms. Hopefully nothing else was amiss. :bonk:

Some of y'all look familiar from the K-1 threads, and as much as I hate the waiting game this process puts us all through, it's nice to see familiar faces again! Good luck everyone and let's get through this together!

looks like I will be joining here as well..currently gathering everything together.

Since not a lot of posted questions or advice here, I sifted through all the posts on the February 2019 AOS filers thread and found some good things on there. Until this one gets going, it might help for anyone else here to check it out as well

good luck

Mailed out the AOS packet on March 1st via USPS to the Chicago P.O. Box (signature required). It was supposed to be delivered on the 4th. It now appears lost 😥 I have been getting a generic message every day since the 5th that just says "Your package will arrive later than expected, but is still on its way. It is currently in transit to the next facility." I'm not sure what I should do. :( I could mail out another but I'm scared the first one will be found and be delivered. I have not gotten any notifications from USCIS even though I included a G-1145. The check hasn't been cashed either. I was finally able to submit an inquiry today to USPS.... Hoping this gets resolved soon so that I can join you guys as March filers! Sorry I just needed to vent!

I sent mine on the 27th of February and was supposed to be there March 1st. But it was not until March 3rd when They delivered it. Their website was updated on the 4th of March. And I got a text notification from USCIS on the evening of March 5th. USPS website doesn’t get a real time update.

That makes me feel better, thanks! Did you also get the generic tracking message that I got? I sent mine as 2-day priority. I did get an update on Monday at 2 AM saying it was leaving the Chicago distribution center. Ever since then it's been giving me that generic message daily. I was thinking that after four business days I should've gotten some type of update. Maybe it will later today.

I sent copies of everything except the marriage certificate. The instructions state to send copies but then I read somewhere that some people got RFE's for original marriage certificates so I sent an original of that.

Hello everyone - I'm from Japan and a March filer of the AOS (I485, I131, I765, I864) for the Spokane, WA field office... Wishing us all a speedy approval!  Here is my cover letter in case it helps anyone... (obviously double check since I'm human and could have made a mistake!)

Did you send your actual original, or a certified copy that you got from your county clerk?

I sent a certified marriage certificate. When I went to turn in my marriage license in person I was able to request certified marriage certificates and I got 5 on the spot so that I hopefully never need to go back lol.

Hi guys,

We sent our package this Monday and the FedEx tracking number said the Chicago Lockbox singed it on Wednesday, 10.26 am.

It's been 2 days, they haven't deposited the checks yet.

We sent everything they were asking for on the instructions, plus some more things that I read here in the forum.

We didn't do the Medical Exam yet.

Btw I'm in SoCal, not far from Santa Ana, so I guess that will be our office...

Good luck to everyone!!
