Glad to see few March folks get their EAD/AP. Our application date is March 18 and we submitted an inquiry few days ago so hoping to get some good news soon so my wife can be able to start work. 

 

I see the date has reverted back. Do we need to submit another service inquiry or just leave the one we placed already. 

 

Hoping to get good news on the EAD in the coming days/weeks.

Your previous service request is valid for 30 days, so if you don’t get a response back after 30 days then you may do a new one. I see you’re Nigerian. Good luck

So today's update.

I went to the Social Security office to ask what's going on with my SSN, because when I applied for the EAD, I marked on the I-765 Form that I'm also applying for the SSN, so basically when my EAD got approved, the USCIS should have been let the Social Security know that I need the SSN.

I gave my EAD approval letter to the lady at the SS Office and she checked on the computer what's going on. She said there is no any sign that I've ever applied for an SSN. She said it happens a lot of times that the USCIS don't let them know about it. She said I can't apply for the SSN until I get the EAD card. When I'll have it, I need to go back with my Card, my original Birth Certificate and my approval letter and approximately 2 weeks I'll get my EAD.

With my deeply angry feelings I went to the USPS again to ask the post office manager again to check with the tracking number where the heck is my EAD? The manager said he has no idea where is it and let me file a claim about my lost First Priority letter.

Also talked to the USCIS, they said I can't apply for a new card for 120 day because I just got approved recently. 

This is such a great process... Thank you USCIS and USPS for your great customer service for that huge amount that I've paid for this !!!!

I wish I could do an angry reaction to this. What a load of ########!!! Can’t believe you are going through all this I am so sorry 😟 we pay so much money and go through so much stress they could at least get this right.

I can’t even describe my feeling anymore. I can’t even cry anymore.

I had to cancel 2 job interviews today one at the Walgreens and one at a veterinary as a receptionist. I was soooo happy to get an interview and finally start to “pay back” all the support that I’ve got from my husband. 

I don’t even want a green card anymore 😢

Chill this weekend don’t even think about any of it and enjoy time with your man there’s nothing you can do until Monday then let all he’ll break loose on them all! This is not fair at all.

OH that's great! Mine is March 22 (altho received date says 19th but uscis told me they go by the 22nd) so I'm hoping to get mine soon!

I’ve got a knock on my door! I’ve got the EAD! I’m literally holding it in my hand! Next week I can go to apply for the SSN!

Jag är jattestressad, på måndag går mitt nuvarande tillstånd ut! 😭😭 Jag är den som tjänar pengar i vår familj så det är så otroligt frustrerande att inte veta när det nya kortet kommer! 😩😩
