Call right at 8am if you can. Press 1, 1, 2, 2. You don't even need to listen to the words. At 8am I almost never wait at all, although when we got transferred to a tier 2 it still took about 45 minutes on hold. Good luck!

Thanks, I even told work I'll be in the parking lot for an hour or so tomorrow 😂

Shame it's 8 am Eastern. I'm not getting up at 5 am here in California to deal with USCIS. When I called last Monday, it was about 9-9:30 am and was on hold for a tier 1 for 30 minutes. Not sure how long it'd be to wait for a tier 2, though I'm probably gonna find out on Thurs/Friday when I next ask about my service request.

Still no change on ours and we submitted our online inquiry a week ago... :( This sucks. Now they're on the 23rd and we are the 15th. What is GOING ON?!?!? I know it's just a few days in the scheme of things but he wants that EAD! Has a job offer just WAITING. Every day they are asking. WHAT IS TAKING SO LONG!??! Ugh

That sucks! And they won’t let you speak to anyone because you did it online?

Yep. Wait 30 days! I’m going to call on Thursday morning if there’s nothing by then and ask to speak to tier 2. By then we should be ten days outside normal processing time, which still I know is not a lot but when I called two weeks ago to ask about the emergency AP they told me they could not expedite his AP because the case was already assigned to someone. So why is this taking so long!!??

I suspect that the emergency AP somehow screwed everything up, but that’s okay because at least he will see his dad! So have to stay positive! Just want this all over so we can have a somewhat normal life (plus I lost my job 6 weeks ago so would be nice to have some income while I job search lol). Looks like it will probably be another six months until his green card interview anyway so getting the EAD now would be a load off.

 Thanks for letting me vent!
