What on earth does that mean? Offsite?? Maybe call again and ask for clarification?

Oh believe me, I'm already in the queue! I'm hoping that someone just hit the wrong canned reply to my service request as I refuse to believe my case really has been sent to a storage facility, but perhaps I'm just in denial of the fact that USCIS have made a mistake with my case.

I try it. Just feels so ..i dont know..sad, that they cant get anything right in my case. i know the FBI checking has been done and has come clear back,so again someone is just not doing they job. And ofc sinse none has updated online, it also looks like case is just floting around

Don’t feel so sad, I also felt this way when I didn’t get any updates on my case, it felt like I was the only one not getting any news. I applied to expedite my i485 and I got scheduled for an interview (I don’t know if it was the expedite that worked or it was just my time). I got my interview notice in the mail and till now, I still don’t have anything updated online but I will have my interview in 11 days. Be optimistic and keep calling them.

Wow, ok. They just looked up my service request for me. Apparently they have for some reason decided to process a case enquiry for my I-129F petition instead, and request the old case file from storage?! I'm completely confused and lost at this point. At least it sounds to me like my EAD is still in the NBC where it should be, but of course they can't tell me that without raising another SR.

Oh wow that’s so weird! Why would they do that when you’re clearly passed that point - how did they get that confused 😑

How do I know what my service center is for my EAD? I applied for the whole 485 package from a K-1 visa and I think the package was shipped to California but I live in Texas so is it the Cali or the Texas service center for me?

If your case number starts with MSC so it means that belongs to the National Benefit Center. However, all the married based cases belongs to the National Benefit Center.

How long does it take to get the EAD after the "New card is being produced" and "Case was approved" update? I've got the being produced update Tuesday midnight and the approved update on Wednesday around noon but I haven't got the "we mailed your new card" update yet.

I don't want to look desperate but I'm really impatient after all of these months.

I’ve been wondering the same, mine changed to Case Approved on both today. I’ve looked at other threads and it seems to be around a week on average but I could be wrong

Yeah but the EAD is not enough for applying most of the jobs. We still need the SSN. That could take 2 weeks as I heard. I'm checking our mailbox 3 times a day however I know exactly the mail guy comes only around 4 pm LOL

Wow I just got an email at this minute that says "Card was mailed to me" :D

I also checked the my.uscis website and there is no update at all... For the 485, 130 and the 765 it still says that "Case was received you don't need to do anything at this time" LOL

That’s weird. It let me do the inquiry when it showed March 7. My received date is March 6. Try to do tomorrow again.
