So turns out I’m an idiot and looked at the wrong number for the PD lol. Our date was actually the 13th not the 18th! Spoke to a really lovely agent and she has put a service request in for me. I know that is probably as useful as a chocolate teapot right now but at least something has been done and I’m officially out of processing times! 

Did they gave your SR number? I called in last week and spoke to a nice lady as well. She gave me a SR number and advise that we should hear back within a month or so.  I did had a RFE, so might be the reason for delay?

Yeah she gave me a number and said the same. I haven’t had an RFE though

no , this is   first update i got  aafter my  biometric fingerprint , request for initial evidence was sent ,

My husband called today and asked for them to put in a service ticket. They said one was already in. He asked how and they said it was done online lol. Oops. So I guess the online inquiry is the same thing as a phone call!? I think we’ve done all there is at this point. Now just sit and wait...

Ha yeah they are the same I think lol. I’ve been keeping busy today by working out and filling up my H&M wishlist with all the clothes I’m buying with my first paycheck 😂😂

Sooo my case will be out of processing time when the website updates to March 19. I am so ready to file a case report in my EAD and make a call.

What are your tips when I call?

Can you suggest what questions to ask or should I ask for a service ticket?

What are service tickets anyway?

I am in fight mode that’s why I am just going to write the questions I want to ask so I won’t lash out 🥴🥴🥴

Hey I called at 6pm est last night and got through after about 45/50mins on hold and I just asked if there was any update on my EAD, gave all the info (have your NOA1 to hand) and she looked into it and saw we were out of processing time and asked if I wanted to put in a service request which I of course said yes. All done and said I should hear within 30 days and they give you a ref number so have a pen and paper ready. The agent I spoke to was really lovely and helpful
