I’m going to call them on Monday as well.

Let me know how it goes, i am still confused about the interview . While some people from January in Charlotte has already given their interviews and how can they say that the time increased.. does it also matter what visa are you on??

I’m a bit late to the party, but better late than never eh?

We filed AOS in March from my Q1 visa, Biometrics were done 04/16. Have had no changes on anything since 04/19 when ‘case was ready to be scheduled for interview’.

Like everyone I’m just super keen to get my EAD so that I can go back to work, my old managers ask me weekly if I can come back yet and I’m worried about just how long they will wait. Plus if I keep volunteering at the dog shelter every day it’s only a matter of time before I end up bringing one home and I don’t think our landlord would be happy about that 😂

I’m  wonder, the date on my notice of action is March 21 or March 22, but the biometrics was  done on May 10.  Does it matter for processing for ead? I mean that they received prints later, many March filers had biometrics in April

I had biometrics in April I’m sure a lot of March filers did. You are going by your NOA1 date for everything. If they received your EAD application on the 22nd, then that’s the date you’re going by when determining how long you might be waiting. Not the biometrics appt.

Just got notified that my interview has been scheduled!!! Only 5 days ago it updated to “case is ready to be scheduled for an interview” and now it has been scheduled! Just waiting for the letter now with the date on it. In other people’s experience how far out do they usually schedule the interviews, like when should I expect it to be - is it usually about a month away or can it be longer? I still haven’t got my EAD/AP so very very excited at the GC interview is coming up!

Timeline update:
29 Jul status changed from "Ready to Schedule" to "Interview Scheduled"

03 Aug Paper I-797C Interview notice in the mail
09 Sep Interview date

No EAD/AP so far. No expedites.

The timeline is just great for California  🎉 don’t mind me asking what’s your local office? Also how long did it take to get “ready to schedule” status after biometrics?

Califonia seems to be lucky (especially if you get the San Bernadino office or get transfered there)

Not really; the slowest offices (LA & SF proper and some of the immediately adjacent ones) are the ones that cover the most cases.

The other offices (including San Diego, thankfully for us) are pretty good, though.
