Try to submit inquiry. Receipt date to inquire is march 4 now.

It is also "just" an estimated time.
E.g. people in Raleigh were supposed to wait 8 months according to USCIS (it dropped to 5.5 months now), but usually people get their interview after 3 to 4 months there.
Which does not match up with the official USCIS times.

Good for you! Let us know how it goes. I’ve read that’s it’s often beneficial to ask to speak to a tier 2 officer. Generally you don’t have much luck with the people on the front lines who initially answer the phones.

Please don’t all think that the processing times for the green card are set in stone. Yes they are a guide but you can get lucky. I filed in late March and received my interview letter a couple of days ago. That’s 4 months. My interview is scheduled for early August so that’s 5 months pretty much in total if all things go well. The estimated processing time for my local office (Portland, ME) is 11-20 something months when I looked yesterday. There is hope 💜

Exactly! I would look at the VJ stats for your field office, as I feel like that is more reliable. Someone speculated that the "minimum" time stated on the USCIS website, is actually the time by which 50% applicants have received their GC. Its just speculation but I think it makes sense

Nope.

 

We have posted a “Receipt date for a case inquiry" in the table below to show when you can inquire about your case. If your receipt date is before the “Receipt date for a case inquiry", you can submit an “outside normal processing time” service request online.

Yes, the inquiry date is calculated by taking upper margin of the processing range (in this case 5 months) converting it to days, so 5 months is 5x30 = 150 days, then subtracting it from what today's date is.

Then how did it change from March 2 to March 5 in 2 days?
