Okay so one day later it changed from interview cancelled to interview is scheduled. Does this mean I am actually going to get an interview time in the mail? I would be very shocked!

hi how long did it take from biometrics to interview for you?

@FINUSA Do you have an account with Uscis ? First the case status will change to " fingerprints review complete " then when your file arrives at your field office to " case ready to be scheduled for interview " then " interview was scheduled" then the notice arrives in the mail with the date of the interview usually a month from the notice being mailed

Haven’t got an actual interview date yet but my biometrics was 25th April.

I think you will! I’m guessing someone scheduled your interview erroneously and had to reschedule hence the cancel and then scheduling again. Congrats

Here’s hoping!! 🤞

Sooo USPS lost our GC. Showing up as delivered on Wednesday on tracking info, but never made it to our mailbox or parcel locker. The post office confirmed that it was last scanned at our address. So it was either mistakenly placed in someone else’s mailbox in our apartment complex, or stolen by the mailman?

Has anyone else had this experience? For anyone waiting on theirs, it might be worth going to your local post office directly to receive it. I can’t believe they don’t make you sign for this thing.

biometrics done! so i filled 3/28 and my biometrics where yesterday.  Honestly seems they did forget to send me letter. nothing updated to my uscis acc (ofc) after the first notification. I am totally now clueless what happens and when lol.

Hoping that i get some info more soon.

That's what I told you a few weeks ago when you first mentioned you haven't had biometrics yet.

I shared my friend story here in LA. She filed this January and didn't get biomretics until the middle of April. In the following days she got approved for the EAD and on August 6 she will have her interview.

I guess it's a USCIS error, so don't be surprised if you get approved soon.

Not with the green card but with USPS yes. I’ve often seen mail scanned in my email and it doesn’t show up for a day or two. Could be that’s what’s happened. Hopefully it shows up tomorrow or I would start to make a fuss if I were you. Good luck.

Ps where in the pnw are you that your interview only took 4 months. I’m close to Seattle and won’t have mine until summer 2020 at least 😬

Yes, this happened to me with my first social security card. I filed a complaint on the informed delivery site and it said to give it a week. A week passed and nothing. I called them but unfortunately they were not much help at all, only told me to monitor my credit report from now on. I had to request a replacement be sent. I hope this doesn't happen to you and that it shows up soon.

Not really, other than reiterating that there is (was?) a pilot program with USPS to require signature + ID for certain card deliveries (like a green card).

Most likely it's a mixup with USPS, so I would start by hounding them to track it down. Ask neighbors if needed. Not immigration-related, but I once had UPS deliver a package to my house number on another street...I found it by going door to door asking.

Failing that, it's time to notify USCIS: https://egov.uscis.gov/e-request/Intro.do
