Yes we also received an RFIE for my birth certificate even though i sent mine with my file and it meets all the UK requirements. They received our response on June 27th and we are waiting again.

A lot of April filers got the same RFIE around the same time. I’m not sure how long it takes maybe 30-60 days( wishful thinking) Hopefully sooner.

Our journey so far:🙂

03 /12/19- Sent I-130, I-485, I-131 & I-765 (via USPS)
03/14/19 - Arrived at Chicago lock box
03/19/19- NOA1 via text (all petitions NBC)
03/22/19- Biometrics notice
03/25/19 - NOA1 via mail for AOSEAD & AP
03/30/19- NOA1 for scheduled biometrics appointment (via mail)
04/12/19- Biometrics appointment completed

Did you just send the same birth certificate without any changes? I know it sounds weird but I don't know what people do if they get this kind of RFIE :)

Yes i copied my birth certificate 2X at a fed-ex print store and sent it back. I didn’t have to do any translations, so nothing more could be done as it was authorised from my local registrar in my city.

There is no reason it’s taking as long as it is and it never has before in history. These cards used to come in about a month. This is an insane amount of time to be taking and I don’t know if it’s due to the current administration slowing things down by implementing new rules or what. It’s crazy. I can’t believe they think it’s okay for people to be stuck in the US for so long or stuck not working instead of hiring more staff.

I guess we're all in it together... but I 100% agree with you it's nuts to keep us trapped in the country without permission to work. At least it's summer now :)

Congratulations!! That was fast. Did you expedite it?

It's been 132 days since our AOS NOA, and 100 days since the Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview.

My friend filed at the end of January and her field office is Downtown LA, mine is Santa Ana. She got her EAD at the middle of April, and had the Ready to be scheduled for an interview update only for 3 weeks. She will have her interview at the beginning of August...

This whole process is killing me and definitely doesn't help my anxiety...

At least give me the EAD :(

Interview at Pittsburgh Office done today! Approved on the spot. But officer called after we left the building saying he can’t issue green card until my bday year is corrected on the background check. He said it will take a couple of months to receive it in mail. Officer is very nice!

Congratulations on the approval! But how is it your fault that they made a mistake on your DOB, now they are making you wait. I hope you get your card soon

I was really nervous  but it was pretty straight forward questions like each others birthdays and stuff like that and anything that has both our names on it, and the officer was really nice so that made me relax near enough straight away.

Good luck with your interview!!

Thank you! That’s funny because they ran background check but missed checking the year of birth 😂 all forms are correct except for G-325a and we didn’t receive RFE!
