Guys got my interview letter in mail on saturday! August 5th and like i am nearby St. Louis even though i live in Illinois and i thought my office would be chicago Isn't is Missouri, St. Louis!

Can ppl that had their interview give me some advice.

I started to gather pics, documents, mail in the same address, proof of car, health insurance, joint account, phone bills and well i dont know what else with us just having 4 months married! We also living with our in laws so no proof about lease, bills and etc and previous to that we just had 1 month living in our last residence so were no chances to add me on those bills!!!

i am excited and nervous hajaj!!

I am St. Louis field office as well! This gives me hope!

It sounds like you have a lot of good evidence. You could have your in laws sign an affidavit stating that you both live with them.

USCIS recently implemented a change where they transfer cases between local offices in order to better balance the load, and possibly speed up processing. This might be why. Congrats, regardless. Totally worth a long car ride in my opinion.

Curious, what does your status on website show? Did it update?

Yessss first in old site and then after two days in the new site!

04/04/18  - Mailed I-129F

Your absence has not taught me how to be alone; it has merely shown me that when together we cast a single shadow on the wall.

Can anyone who’s expedited their EAD help me?

I called uscis to expedite under severe financial loss and I have a job offer.

Today I get a Letter saying my request to expedite i485 was denied !?? ( I didn’t ask for this to be expedited - only my ead , I just want my work card!!)

If I wanted to expedite i765 then I need supporting documents to the nation benefits center , no address , fax  number or didn’t tell me exactly what to send .

Id imagine an official letter from employer? Anything else ? Does anyone have an address or fax number please thanks so much

I called them and they responded in 2days with fax. I did fax and they updated the case to complete

I had my interview last week and besides what you already named I also brought my and his life insurance with us being each others beneficiaries, statements of benefits from my husbands work that showed us both having health and dental insurance through him, his 401k showing me as a beneficiary. Then I did screenshots of some facebook posts with pictures from family events in which my husband's sisters tagged us in + my posts - in my opinion it shows much more than just pictures because of all the comments our families/friends made etc. Screenshots of conversations between me and my husband's family (meeting up, them congratulating) and also me and my husband. Then I brought contracts and receipts for deposits for wedding venue, photographer etc. since we're doing a "proper" wedding celebration next year. Flight tickets from trips together. And as someone said, I'd definitely bring written and signed statements from your in laws saying you live with them and that the lease and utilities are in their name. Good luck!

By any chance do you know what to fill in the VJ timeline for EAD and AP if I got my GC first? I don't see any option for them being cancelled. Should I just leave them blank? I'm just thinking, wouldn't it mess up the timeline for others though?

Congratulations! Personally I deleted anything I had put for EAD/AP and have now left that part 100% blank

Hello, we filed our AOS on March 15th 2019, got our NOA1 on March 22, 2019. Same with EAD and AP, same dates.

My question is...how do I know what service center they are in? Does NOA1 have that information? I am confused how everyone else knows? Thank you!

Sorry to double post. All 3 of our receipt numbers begin with "MSC". Is this the Missouri service center? How does this affect our processing times? Will our interview be in Missouri?? I hope not.

EAD and AP are processed at the National Benefits Center in Missouri (the MSC code). Your I-485 will be initially processed there and eventually transferred to your local field office which you can find by putting in your zip code here: https://www.uscis.gov/about-us/find-uscis-office/field-offices

When your I-485 status changes to "Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview" that's when they transfer to your field office. You will likely have your interview at this office. However, in the last month or so USCIS began implementing a policy whereas they are moving some cases to other nearby field offices in an effort to standardize uneven workloads between the offices. If your case is affected by this new policy then you won't know where you'll be interviewed until you get your interview notice. Interview notices are sent out usually 3-4 weeks prior to your interview.

Edit: I just checked and it does not look like the San Antonio office (assuming the information in your profile is accurate and this is your office) is affected by this new policy: https://www.uscis.gov/about-us/find-uscis-office/field-offices/texas-san-antonio-field-office. If it was, it would typically have a notice at the top indicating that, so you will likely be interviewed there :) good luck!
