Is your case number starts with MSC? Than it belongs to the NBC so the current processing time is between 6,5 and 8,5 months.

I don't know yet, because I'll be able to apply for my husband's AOS starting from June (according to visa bulletin). Our I-130 went for processing to California and we live near Detroit. So I was just hoping that EAD/AP will also be processed in California.

If you will be married based with the AOS, it will be MSC and your EAD will belong to the NBC

Well that sucks. But please tell me - which EAD/AP are processed in - for example - California? They have only 3-5 months waiting time. I don't get it.

There are tons of eligibility categories for both I-131 and I-765 not just AOS so those cases are processed at different offices, for example my brother-in-law has applied for AP not based on AOS and his is being processed in Texas

Yes I know that. But in said California, they also process EAD "Based on a pending I-485 adjustment application [(c)(9)] - exactly the same like in National Benefits Center. That's why I asked.

EDIT: In Texas too.

Then I would guess those are for AOS not based on K-1

There seem to be some confusion in this thread. My understanding is as follows: EAD and AP are processed at NBC, central location (Missouri) regardless of where the applicant lives, same way most 129F are processed in California Laguna Niguel. I-485 though, the Green Card apps are processed at local field offices, there are quite a few of those, and that is where the interviews are conducted. The local processing of I-485 is what causes huge disparity, with some people getting their Green Cards approved really quick, while others wait for over a year. EAD/AP is basically insurance policy in case AoS approval takes too long. If AoS approved quickly, then EAD/AP are no longer needed, and I think USCIS internally cancels them.

I know that all.

But I'm still wondering why I-765 = Application for Employment Authorization, Form type: Based on a pending I-485 adjustment application [(c)(9)] can either be processed by:

- California Service Center,

- National Benefits Center,

- Nebraska Service Center,

- Texas Service Center,

- Vermont Service Center...

... while (in my understanding) the majority of the users on this forum have their I-765 petitions processed by National Benefits Center. I thought that the address of the petitioner matters, but apparently that's not true. Anyway - we're seeing our attorney in June and I'll ask.

Wow your stuff got done super fast! Makes me feel like EAD/APs could start coming. Was this at all expedited? 1 months after bio is so fast.

No expedite, I was surprised too. No EAP/AD or SS. The case got update today again to On May 29, 2019, the Post Office picked up mail containing your new card for Receipt Number MSC***

Hi Everyone

I'm working in advance for my future I-485 (from K1)

In section 7 of the instructions ("Evidence of Continuously Maintaining a Lawful Status Since Arrival in the United States") it states "...must submit evidence to show they have continuously maintained lawful immigration status while in the United States..."

From the list, I will present:

  • B. Form I-94
  • E. Passport page with an admission or parole stamp

But it also says:
"Include evidence for every time you entered the United States and for the time periods spent in the United States."

Question:
I traveled several times to the US, here the ask would be to take a copy of my passport pages with each stamp I got from each trip, right?

Did anyone include info about previous trips?

Thanks in advance

Fernando

If you go to https://i94.cbp.dhs.gov/I94/#/home and click on “Get most recent I-94” you can find all the times you have entered the US either if it was by plane or land. I didn't include it but they ask you to bring it to the interview once you have it even though they didn't ask me for it.
