Whoa!!!! VJ's website has changed so much!!!! Aaaah.... this website was so so helpful when we first started on what seemed like our odyssey. I just wanted to say hey to everyone. I first started coming on here in Dec 03 in the midst of our K1 application from Singapore. I have been living in Seattle, WA since Apr 2004. Wow! What an experience it's been so far! I am just about to receive the green card after the I751 process of lifting the conditional status. That was interesting since USCIS, despite acknowledging my address change, sent my new card to the older addy (SIGH!) But it should hopefully arrive here real soon!

I just wanted to say hi and good luck to everyone out there no matter where you are in the process! Never ever give up!!!!!

PS: Just found out that we are preggers 2 weeks ago! Hurrrah! :dance:

Feb 09 2004: Notice of Interview Appointment for Feb 27 04

Feb 27 2004: Interview a success. Visa Pending Australian

Fingerprint check

Mar 15 2004: K1 Visa Issued in Passport

Mar 16 2004: Arrived in Seattle!! :-)

Apr 03 2004: Wedding

May 17 2004: Mailed in AOS and EAD to Seattle Dist Office

May 25 2004: Received receipt for AOS and EAD

July 26 2004: Notice for EAD appointment arrives

Aug 09 2004: Processed and received EAD at Seattle Dist Off

Aug 10 2004: Received letter of appointment for AOS Interview

Sept 08 2004: AOS interview & Green Card Approved

Jun 14 2006: Submitted I751 for removal of conditions

July 31 2007: Received 10 year Green card AT LAST! (Of course, not before going thru tons of heartache and contacting USCIS for it as they had sent it to the wrong address despite acknowledging a change of addy form from me sigh!)

01/17/2007 Faxed the checklist to the Immigrant Visa Unit in Frankfurt

03/29/2007 Got letter from USCIS to provide evidence that our marriage is bona fide

04/02/2007 Sent to USCIS lots of evidence

05/03/2007 I have an unofficial "PETITION APPROVED" ...waiting for confirmation from Consulate

05/07/2007 Received email from USCIS ROME confirming that our petition was approved (why Rome? because we complained to the District Office Rome about the Sub-Office Frankfurt..it took too long for our petition to be approved)...now waiting for the interview letter from the Consulate

05/18/2007 E-mail from IV Frankfurt, our interview was scheduled for May 29th

05/19/2007 Packet 4 in the mail: ja ja ja interview letter

05/29/2007 Interview at 7.30 a.m. APPROVED Thank you, God!

06/01/2007 Visa arrived !

06/03/2007 Mayday on the plane POE Cincinnati

06/21/2007 Welcome Notice from USCIS

06/29/2007 Applied for SSN at the local Office

07/07/2007 Green Card arrived

07/09/2007 Another 2 Welcome Letters from USCIS...God, they really love me! :D
