Changing embassy of interview

Hi all!

We finally received our NVC case and identification number so we should be happy BUT.... They stated different embassy than in I-130.

I'm citizen, resident and living back in Latvia for more than half a year so I stated in I-130 that I want it to be my interview embassy while I was studying last year in Poland. However, they sent a Case number and stated in NVC email that my embassy is Warsaw, Poland😥

 

How time consuming and hard is to change embassy as it's clear NVC MADE A MISTAKE? What is needed from me?

 

I already booked my medical in Latvia and have been in contact with embassy in Latvia about questions. I know they do Spouse visas here.

If you haven’t submitted any evidence than nothing has been sent to Embassy yet. Have you called the NVC to see if they can fix that problem right there? If they cannot, ask them who can. There gotta be a mechanism to do that.

No we even couldn't login with our case and identification number. My husband will call in the morning NVC and I will call embassy in Latvia.

 

I hope as well it's an easy fix.

Yeah at this point you need to make as much noise as possible and hopefully someone somewhere will be able to fix
