Have you actually listened to her?  She is a progressive in the mold of Bernie Sanders.  If progressive taxation, free college, and becoming serious about climate change makes her a socialist/communist, then sign me up!

Consider yourself signed up!  Highly recommend moving to and living in Venezuela for one year to get all the training you will require.

Isn’t Bernie Sanders a self professed communist or at least a diehard socialist?  I have read the Democratic Socialist of America’s Q/A section and though they do not come out an promote communism directly, reading between the lines, it is clear they are promoting government control of economic capital.  Heck AOC’s Green New Deal is simply a big power grab by government so that those that know better can control the populace.  Now occasionally they tout Scandavia as a socialist success, but those countries are social democracies and if you look at Sweden you see a lot of free choice items such as schools of choice, etc. and they are clear that the only way they can pay for all their social safety nets is by taxing the middle class.  Bernie and AOC tout complete socialism/communism along with class warfare of the evil rich as a means to pay for it.  Well, the rich collectively do not have enough money to pay for their wish list, and I would rather not turn into a Venezuela.  Luckily, we have a Constitution that the Founding Father’s made difficult to change, so we don’t have much to fear from anyone occupying the WH, but a socialist can still do a lot of economic damage if in power.

What i don’t understand is why the Democrat Party is swinging so far to the Left into the socialist/communist realm, and how those views are considered so progressive when all the evidence shows they are economically unsustainable and often lead to despotic leadership and chaos.  The other thing I don’t understand is that if we do get a lot more government control of our daily lives, what happens when a conservative is elected?

The logical fallacy here is the idea that Mueller and the SDNY prosecutors either didn't watch Cohen's recent testimony or, they did watch it and they simply don't feel like prosecuting him for lying to Congress again. Of course, conveniently ignored by the right is the certainty that Mueller and the SDNY have corroborating evidence of Trump's crimes.

I especially got a good chuckle seeing the right wing calling Cohen a liar, all in defense of a pathological liar!

I get a good chuckle seeing the left defend the testimony of a convicted liar who is hoping for a plea deal in order to accuse the president without any evidence whatsoever of lying.

On the contrary, there is a wealth of information out there.  You don't even need a book.

Look at Social Security and Medicare.  Or, better yet, look at how this country socializes costs and privatizes benefits.  Trump's New York golf course is a good example of that.  Look at the 2009 bailout of Wall Street, another good example.

Both of which are socialist failures. I guess the left's idea of a socialist utopia is overpriced rationed healthcare and the alpo meal plan for retirees living on social security.

I never said anything of the sort. I am pretty sure calling someone delusional is against the terms of service.

Sanctions are not what caused the problems in Venezuela. A socialist economy was the cause. Venezuela has a vast amount of natural resources and if they took advantage of that in a smart way sanctions would be irrelevant. Venezuela used to be a prosperous nation when they had a free market.

I agree, Venezuela should have set more money aside during good times, but let's face it. So could the United States, instead of handing out tax cuts, etc. However, kicking a country when it is down, doesn't seem to be helping matters. Lying about the legitimaticy of a government sure doesn't help either.
