Just wondering if anyone has recently had to do a medical in the Nashville area? My K1 medical was done September 27, 2018 and im worried that based on not getting a notification for an interview yet, I might not have an interview date before the Medical's 1-year mark (September 2019). Has anyone had to do one recently? Is there a list of who we would have to reach out to for it?

I think you're good as long as the medical was submitted with your AOS within a year of the exam AND marked complete, as per the I-693 instructions.

Hey fellow Nashvillians! I'm new to this thread, but just thought I'd drop a line to say hi! I posted this in the "November 2018 AOS Filers, Part 2" thread, but I figured I'd post it here too:

We FINALLY got the notification that our case is "ready to be scheduled for an interview" at the Nashville F.O.!!!! (It took 253 days to receive this update 🙄)

I woke up this morning to a text message that our case had changed, and I've never shot out of bed so quickly! Still feels surreal, but I'll feel relieved once our interview is actually scheduled. Still no news on the combo card, so I'm starting to think we may have the Green Card before our AP/EAD are approved. I'll accept that though!

To everyone who is still waiting, hang in there! I know it can really start to feel hopeless (especially when you've been waiting well over 200 days). I think they're really trying to get through November now though. (By the way, our I-485 was received on November 18, 2018 and I-131/ I-765 were received on November 14, 2018)

Wow! I literally just got another text and email saying that our "Interview was Scheduled." So, I imagine we'll receive the letter confirming the exact date probably sometime next week. I'll keep you all posted on what date we're assigned!

Again, our I-485 was received by USCIS on November 18, 2018, so I'd imagine the Nashville F.O. is working their way through November and December 2018 now.

For now, we wait, and finish gathering our evidence! 😱

First of all, CONGRATULATIONS! How exciting! 🎉

Our case status changed from "Case Ready for Interview to be Scheduled" to "Interview was Scheduled" within the same day, so I imagine it's possible yours could be scheduled quite soon!

I'll definitely keep you posted on how our interview goes and what sorts of questions they ask. Hopefully it'll be easy peasy!

Interview on August 9 2019
My interview went well! Our officer seem serious at first but then he was very friendly and a young one. He asked for our IDs, he reviewed the i-485 form with me, asked me my name, address and parents name as well as the yes and no questions and then he reviewed the i-130 with my husband, asked him where he lived and his parents names and if he knew the penalties written on the form. Then he asked for our birth certificates, my visa and passport which i used to enter the united states when i was a minor. After requesting that evidence he asked how we met, how did he asked me out, and while we were telling our story we showed him pictures. (We made a lil summary of 4 pictures every years for the 7 years we dated and the 3 years after that where we had our engagement, court wedding and religiuos wedding. He was surprised we were high school sweet hearts and the pictures could prove it lol. After all that he asked if we had questions and told us that “the only reason he couldnt do it” was because the computers were down but that to him we showed to have a bonafide marriage. (I dont know if to take that as approved) lol either way he said to check on the mail tuesday as he wasnt going to be there monday.

Hey guys! We just had our AOS Interview this morning in Nashville, and it went really well! Our immigration officer didn't approve us on the spot, but she said so far everything looks good on her end. She was smiling, upbeat, and positive, so I'm hoping that's a good sign!
