My wife is visiting her mother in Colombia.  She and her son are scheduled to return on the Feb 26th. She has a conditional green card, he has advance parole noted on a wok authorization card.  She is currently unable to find either card.  What are her options? I don't believe thy have been stolen. How can she travel, can she?

Without green card or AP they will not be admitted back to the US.

Might try to contact local US embassy. But I highly doubt they will do anything within 4 days so be prepared to reschedule that flight.

Agreed, get with the embassy. They generally are very helpful. While I'm a US citizen, my passport was stolen last week while here in Denmark, they were willing to do a one day emergency passport replacement, luckily the police recovered my original one and I can fly home tomorrow, but definately get with the embassy as they can give you proper guidance.

Your wife (conditional green card) needs to apply for I-131A, Application for Travel Document (Carrier Documentation) in order to be allowed to board her flight back & re-enter the US. She must file Form I-131A in person at a USCIS international field office or with a Consular Section at a U.S. Embassy or Consulate.

I am not sure about your son with the Advanced Parole/EAD Combo card, maybe the Embassy or USCIS International office might tell what to do.

Good luck!

They missed the flight. Since  then the documents have been found.  Trying to stay calm, and take deep breaths.

Probably quicker and easier to book a new flight than get travel docs, albeit likely to cost more. At least they can get back now.... and possibly it sounds like a lesson has been learnt for next time traveling?
