My wife has done the biometrics for her AOS and currently waiting on her interview.  The timing is not working out really well but I just received orders and I dont think leaving for another country without her will work.

I just called USCIS and they told me to write a letter to NBC to request the expedite.  Is this who you have sent your request to?  Also is it possible to do this via email since I am a bit skeptical on mailing a physical copy of my orders anywhere.  Thanks.

I wrote the expedite directly to USCIS and 2 weeks later my wife got her interview.

I say snail mail because you can provide more supporting documents, such as your orders.

If you PM me.with your email, I can send you a template which will help!

Hi @Ed&Midori1031 fellow brazilian here! I know this is an old post, but I'm wondering how did you expedite request work. Did you send it to the main USCIS office or the field office that you guys had the interview? I already sent my evidence and it's been almost 2 weeks now and now response from them, and we're PCSing overseas in a month

Hey @itsanabanana ! Yes, we mailed out our expedite request directly to our local field office.  It took about 2 to 3 weeks and USCIS actually called my wife to set up an interview.  Then we received an interview letter in the mail shortly after that.  Hopefully soon you will hear about your expedite request!

May I ask how long ago you received orders for overseas?

Hi @Ed&Midori1031! Thanks for answering! After they called how long did it take for the interview? Did they still have to schedule it for a month in advance? I'm hoping to get an answer soon, but I would need to have the interview in less than a month...

We received orders a little bit less than a month ago, I asked for an expedite as soon as we got the copies. This is our FDS, I wish we would've gotten it earlier so I would have more time

Sorry for the delay.  We got an interview date after 2 weeks receiving the phone call.  Normally orders are issued out way in advance before PCS happens, of course there are few cases in between...hopefully it all works out for you in the end.  Please keep us updated.

We requested an expedite with the military hotline (I’m the mil spouse) and got the interview waived, but I was pregnant and the due date was nearby my husband’s deployment date.

they got in touch with us in less than one week after we put the request.
