Any suggestions for a Rwandan filing in Nairobi?

A few days ago I received a letter from NVC stating that my fiance's visa will be processed in Nairobi. I called back to say, wait, he's in Rwanda, but apparently Nairobi is the nearest embassy that can process K visas. Unfortunately the Embassy in Nairobi won't respond to any of emails asking about how they process a case of someone from another country. Has any one else had to file outside of their country? Any one who's been through Nairobi have any pearls of wisdom?

5/2/07 Touched again

5/16/07 Learn from my senator's office that petition was approved two weeks ago. NVC says case was received 5/14 and should be sent to the embassy today.

Our case is being processed through another country.

The travel is a hassle to say the least. Especially when the case is on AP and a 2.

or even 3. interview is a possibility.

Post in the sub-saharan regional forum.

Member mmarlo went through Nairobi, search his posts, he had some problems

with the running around for the medical or something.
