Visa approved! Asked what site we met on. When we first met in person. How we communicated when we were apart. If she was married before. If I was married before. If she had children. If I had children. If she had travelled abroad. "I am approving your visa.". There were about five other Americans there with their fiances. There had to be well over 100 K1s.  I would say we we're in the first 40%. I saw two male fiances separated from there partner during the interview. I also heard a lot of pointed and firm questions about past criminal activity and domestic violence. We we're done by 9am. We arrived at 6:30. Her interview took about 3 minutes. It definitely helped that I was there  Pax, your interviewer was there. She was friendly but very thorough. I directly heard her interview one woman. She new everything about her fiance and spoke very good English and her interview took well over 15 minutes...

 

My takeaways...if you have any sort of criminal past make sure your fiance knows about it. If you go with you fiance don't speak until you are addressed. I was not asked for any financial information but others were asked for it at prescreening. Others were asked for it at the interview. I will add more as I remember it...
