Your kids in NC made it snow in CA?  Dang dude, that is POWER!!!

Actually my wife was pretty upset yesterday when she saw that it was snowing in our old neighborhood. She was saying stuff like "It's snowing in Pasadena and it hasn't even snowed yet here in NC"

They have done actual studies on this and it is true. The developing countries are the ones that have a lot of kids compared to the "1st world".

True, but there is a lot of variation in end output of CO2. Industrial countries tend to produce more CO2 per capita but tend to have lower populations, whereas developing countries tend to produce less CO2 per capita, but higher birth rates.

Canada has a very high per capita contribution to CO2 output, but a low overall total. India has a low per capita output, but as a country, the total output is 3rd highest. The combined output of all developing countries put together still doesn't add up to what China contributes to emissions.

I would expect population to be a bigger driver going forward though, as developing countries will start to catch up.

It's always the same fear mongering with a moving dooms day date 10-20 years out from the current date. 10 years ago we were told snow wouldn't exist by now. I see about 2 feet of snow in my front yard right now. My eyes must be lying to me.
