Good evening,

Today we had our K-1 interview and we knew going in it would be denied and  would needed to file the 212 waiver for 212(a)(9)(a)(i). Due to Expedite Removal that triggers a 9A ban from 212(a)(7)(a)ii.

The counselor was nicely behaved and we answered all his questions with the response we knew we had to answer with. So at the end he gave us the sheet of paper and now we are beginning the paperwork phase with Lizz Cannon. We waited  Incase we needed a 601 but we don’t need.

Im asking for those that read, what is the processing time you had? Again, this is just for solo 212. The process of how the waiver is ruled is different than that of filing 601+212. We know it has to go to Atlanta local office for approval after being sent to the lockbox in Phoenix.Just want to know how long others had to wait.

I’ve been seeing a lot of 2-4 months for solo

again, thanks for any information.

I am hoping our process is that short of a time.. I have the exact situation as you.

I was just denied our k1 at our interview and banned for the same reason. I will be submitting my waiver in the next day or two.

Hopefully it is a quick(er) process than others..
