Hi all,

With my interview coming up in a couple of weeks, I wanted to check something regarding the documents required...

In the checklist, it says I need the follow:

-Passport (yep!)

- Form DS-230 Part 2 (yep!)

- Birth Certificate, "Long Form" (I think I have this - it's A4 Size, lists parents etc, and I have a smaller one which is about half the size and just lists me, so I'll bring both + copies).

- Marriage Certificate (I have a certified copy obtained from the Church, as our original one has disappeared - I'll bring this plus copies)

- Police Certificate (got this a couple of weeks ago)

- Photographs (Need to get some more, luckily there's a shop in town I can go and get them done at)

- Evidence of Support (Now here's the BIG question! It says "If the immigrant visa petition that was filed on your behalf was filed in the US and the petitioner was requested to submit an Affidavet of Support, form I-864, to the National Visa Cneter in New Hampshire, you will not be required to obtain a new one." Does this mean that I won't have to bring along tax returns etc, as I submitted copies of those to the NVC, for both my wife and Father-in-law who is acting as a co-sponsor? I'm just worried I may need to get originals, even though it doesn't indicate that I will).

Any advice is more than welcome!

Good question! I was wondering the same, but I take it to mean that I-864's that have been checked and processed at the NVC are already approved. I'm going to take copies of the I-864 and tax returns filed along with me anyway just incase. Let me know if you find out different.

Good luck for the Interview.
