America the Beautiful is also one of my favs. Also Battle Hymn of the Republic is cool, but it's definitely more of a faith based song. This line is cool: As he died to make men holy, let us die to make men free,.

I do still think the star spangled banner is a good song to have as our anthem though.

Okay, so its not a stereotypical patriotic song, but it sums up my love of this country:

When I think of song titles, there is always one in particular that comes to mind. It’s the old country classic, “How Can I Get Over You Till You Get Out from Under Him”

However, my favorite patriotic song is, “America the Beautiful"

I HATE that I'm Proud to be an American song, hate it, hate it, hate it!!! Its so corny and irritating!! Roshon sings it (and he's singing it to me know over the phone because I just read out the poll :angry: !!) all the time to bug me and it works, he did used to play it while I was there to!! I wouldn't mind but he doesn't even really like it!!!

I like the star spangled banner out of all of them.

As for God Save the Queen - err what about the rest of us mere commoners!!

As a U.S. Navy veteren... everytime I hear God Bless the USA I get tears in my eyes. It's a great song, especially for our servicemen and women. :thumbs:
