I've been looking up here for any interview experiences but found nothing detailed on how the day goes, what to take, who should go with you, expectations, etc.

Please share links if there is any. Appreciate it.

Each office and officer does things a bit different. They also switch things up month to month.

Many members did post their interview experience so with a lot of digging you might find something for your field office.

If filling under the 3 yr rule bring additional documents of proof of marriage. I was asked for more than what I sent in.

You are the only one that will go in for the interview and test.

I am filing under 3 year rule. I will look up Seattle office experiences.

I have joint docs with my wife and a kid. Good thing to know she doesn't have to come to the interview with me.  Do we have to attend the ceremony oath ? Is it a must or just a fun day to celebrate ?

You must attend the oath ceremony. You would not be a USC until the oath. Your wife again can pass on it but she might like to see it. Many offices allow family to come for that.

Oh ok. Thanks for letting me know.

As far as filing online and am wondering if I have to submit the whole tax returns papers (7 pages I guess for each year)  or just the form 1014 which is the 1st page of the tax return?   Same with bank account statements, should I upload the whole statements or just the front page that has the names and balance?

I'm not sure what you would need for that. I have a terrible memory and it's been a more than a few years since I did mine.

You are a loyal VJ friend then.  Just would like to see how the interviews go. Is it like ROC interview or AOS or different. Easy or hard. Percentage of rejections? Etc. I read somewhere here that people get REF when they sumbit docs in short cuts. So to make sure I don't get rejected..when I upload docs, should I upload everything from page 1 to the end ? Or just the front pages only?
