It's past my bed time-so I am off to bed!

Take a large, almost round, rotating sphere about 8000 miles in diameter, surround it with a murky, viscous atmosphere of gases mixed with water vapor, tilt its axis so it wobbles back and forth with respect to a source of heat and light, freeze it at both ends and roast it in the middle, cover most of its surface with liquid that constantly feeds vapor into the atmosphere as the sphere tosses billions of gallons up and down to the rhythmic pulling of a captive satellite and the sun. Then try to predict the conditions of that atmosphere over a small area within a 5 mile radius for a period of one to five days in advance!

I usually try to finish up whatever I'm doing by midnight so I can go to bed then. But it seems like its usually after 1 by the time I get to bed. And if I'm really into a heavy programming session, I might see light coming in the window and decide its time to sleep a little. My wife sends me text messages between 5 and 6 am usually. Then I stay in bed until 10 am. I usually get my 8 hours, but rarely all in a row.

Working two jobs atm (from home), soooo Tuesday - Thursday I work 6pm to 2am up to midnight on Sundays and Mondays, and get to go to bed early Fridays and Saturdays.

I'm all sorts of screwed up :P

I love my bed :D . When I was younger I used to go to bed around midnight, but now, specially now that I'm working and have to get up at 6am I try to sleep at 21 - 22.

Never in bed before midnight, and if left entirely to my own devices, would be up until about two every night, I think. That said, right now I have no need to get up at any particular time in the morning, so I don't care what time we go to bed! I'm just trying to get used to sleeping at (pretty much) the same time every night, after doing shift work for the last six or seven years. What with the shift work and the five-hours-time-difference relationship, my sleep pattern was very very messed up indeed - I'm sure actually sleeping during the night time must be doing me good! :)

2005 - We met

2006 - Filed I-129F

2007 - K-1 issued, moved to US, completed AOS (a busy year, immigration-wise)

2009 - Conditions lifted

2010 - Will be naturalising. Buh-bye, USCIS! smile.png
