I-751 Question on Mailing Carrier

Hi Guys !

For those of you who mailed their I-751 package already, which mailing carrier is the best because it seems most people had issues mailing with USPS. Am thinking of sending mine not with USPS but other carrier . But the problem here seems if you are sending with other carrier rather than usps, you have to put on the package ATTN: I-751. And with USPS, you don't need to put that.

Which one is be there guys. Thanks

I didn't file I-751 yet, but when I filed my AOS last September I had a lot of issues with USPS and the USCIS lockbox. They mis delivered it and it took a few days and a lot of phone calls to get my package at the right location.

I also read from other people that this is happening a lot and even USCIS advises to not send it with USPS cause they get A LOT of complaints about packages not arriving (I called them when my AOS papers were basically lost by USPS and this is what they told me)

So if I were you I would go with FedEx, UPS or DHL. They deliver the package at a physical address

I used FedEx.

Our i751 weighed in at 2.9lbs (SO much paper) and it was $25 for 2nd day am delivery.  I just find FedEx the most efficient courier all around.

We used USPS for 1-129, AOS and I-751 with no issues. For the I-751, it was sent on Friday and delivered to the Phoenix P.O. Box on Tuesday (Monday was a holiday). Receipt text with case number and check cashed the following Monday.

Thanks Rick & Apple. Please did you attach form G-1145 in the package you sent?

From what I've seen recently, it would be best to use FedEx or UPS and include the G-1145 notification form.  Good luck!

I-130 (for parents of US Citizens):

8/19/2022: NOA (IOE0917XXXXXX); Texas Service Center

7/22/2023: Both (parents) petitions approved

7/27/2023: Both cases sent to NVC

8/8/2023: Received NVC welcome email for both parents

When I sent my ROC I used USPS, as it's going to a lockbox.  I just made sure I didn't send it with a signature required.  A lockbox is essentially a big post office box.  I assumed no one would be available to sign so I didn't get that on the shipping.

We used USPS 2-day Priority Mail with the Medium Flat Rate Box. Total shipping cost $13.65. It was delivered in 2 days without any issues and with delivery confirmation.

You can print the shipping label at home using the USPS Click-N-Ship website. Also as mentioned by another poster above, do not add any "signature confirmation" option.
